Outside and far away, there are houses where the ceilings leak and
the basements are flooded when the rains come. Outside, far away,
there are mothers that remain children, mothers that never grow up, mothers whose hearts and spirits have been crippled by grandmothers' toxic diatribes. But here she is far away from those dark truths.
