The great Gatsby F . Scott Fitzgerald’s famous book portrays the life of the 1920s. His portrayal and the criticism of the Roadring Twenties can be seen throughout the novel. Fitzgerald shows the superficiality of the age through Daisy buchanan, a beautiful bu shallow young woman. Gatsby loves Daisy so much, but he knows that only if the becomes rich, he has a change to get Daisy back.
